Eight men jailed over gay wedding in Egypt

     A court in Egypt has sentenced eight men to three years in prison for appearing in a video alleged to show a gay marriage.The video, which was posted to YouTube in September, shows two men exchanging rings on a boat in the Nile.The event included the presentation of a ring and a cake featuring two men.
   The defendants denied the charges, with one of the men stating in an interview that he only gave a friend a ring as a birthday present. The case has put new focus on gay rights in Egypt.
